Have you ever started a project that you're really excited about that it's damn near the only thing you can think of and the only thing you ever want to do til it's done? I'm pretty much like that right now. First off I haven't updated Deviantart with new stuff in like, over a year and now I've updated 7 new entries. it's new art too. It's not old stuff that I'm just finishing.

The reason? I'm working on making a full length cartoon with my friends, in hopes of getting it picked up for a full season. It's called: "The Wicked Awesome Team" (T.W.A.T. for short) and it's a very dear idea to us. We're on the design stage thus why all my new entries are just character designs and nothing terribly dynamic. We'll be starting the storyboard stage next week and I'm crazy excited about it.

So you may have wondered why all of a sudden I'm working on a cartoon. Well it started with a little animated short that I did for school(and fun) called: "Southformers". It's a little spoof about the secret origins of why the decepticons hate the autobots so much all done in south park style with cameos by some of the regular South Park characters (Ms. Crabtree, Eric Cartman, and Stan Marsh) After that I wanted to do a project that surpassed it in every way, and after interning at an animation company as a compositor for three months I came up with the perfect idea, which was to make a full cartoon episode based on a D&D style super hero game that I was playing with my friends back home a while ago. The characters were all very memorable and we spent all our time while playing the game laughing.

I pitched the idea to Evan McNeely(the Dungeon Master) and he was 100% on board right from the beginning.

Most of the villains that we came upon in the game were spoofs of other characters that already existed in other media( The Hulk, Goku, Godzilla, Predator, Alien, ElGigante, etc., etc.) so we thought, we'd just tweak them a bit so that they're a little more original and it's working out fantastically.

Southformers can be seen on Youtube, and The Wicked Awesome team, when complete, will be premiered on blogTV.com. After that premiere we'll be going to comic cons, and stuff like that selling DVD's of the first episode and stuff, while we pitch it to production companies and whatnot. (not 100% sure how the process goes) but we're going to be busting our asses off trying to get it picked up for a full season cause some of the later episodes hat we've thought up are pretty freaking hilarious.

So keep an eye out. we're working hard, and hopefully all the hard work pays off.

I'm 22 years old, I love animation and movies and comics and the like. I also really like Anime and Manga, and pretty much everything about Japan.

I've finished the one year Art Fundamentals program at Sheridan college, and am currently in the second year of Media Arts. My dream is to one day become a big budget movie writer and director. One thing I want to do most with my movies eventually is make video game adaptations that are actually true to the original source material. Cause lets face it, there's only been like... one maybe two movies that fit that description.

I especially want to make Resident Evil movies. I hated the crapfests that Paul Anderson made, and I'm a huge Resident Evil fan. It's my favourite game series I feel it is my duty to fix that mess.

I also want to learn how to animate. I'm slowly figuring it out on my own, but one of these days I'd like to get some formal training. I applied for the animation program at Sheridan, but I never finished my portfolio. I actually think that I might have gotten in... but I guess we'll never know now.

I also love making T-shirt designs and am actively making them for sale... I've got two designs done, and one more in the works, with many more ideas on the backburner. keep an eye out cause I'll be posting the links. I had three done but apparently the Pac Attack shirt wasn't allowed, which is gay. Cause it's a parody. I should be able to sell it.
